BecomeAGameTester.com Review - Is it a scam?

When I found BecomeAGameTester, I basically thought it was a scam. It sounds almost too good to be true - you can play games, report bugs and errors, and earn $25 - $50 for each hour you spend. However, I thought that it couldn't hurt to try it. I had quite a lot of free time on my hands during the summer, so I bought my membership.

The website isn't everything it claims to be, but it still was an extremely nice addition to my summer. I received my first game to test around a week after ordering, and it was a fun experience! There were a few bugs, such as characters going through walls in certain parts of the map, so I simply reported this to the developers.

There is a catch: The website claims to pay you $25 - $50 per hour, but I am being paid $25/hour. Don't expect to get the $50/hour. Also, I didn't get any games from the "big companies" such as Blizzard, Nintendo, or Electronic Arts (EA), but I was provided with a variety of fun games - and I did get to keep them, so that part of the site is true.

Although it wasn't everything it bragged to be, I still found it to be well worth the money. I've received my checks throughout the summer for playing the games, and I've already made more than I paid for the product. I'm also never bored, and when summer ends, I plan on continuing to use this as a fun part time income.

If you love playing video games, I strongly recommend you purchase the product. It's fun, you get paid, and you get games. In addition, you do get to learn Game Secrets and Cheat Codes for almost every game you get (there are a few exceptions, but this is true for mostly all games.) It's convenient because you can work from home, relaxed, and stress free.

I've tried a different game testing site before (http://gametesterguide.net/) and my experience with them was a bit worse than my experience with BecomeAGameTester. The pay wasn't nearly as good (it was around $10/hour) and they didn't send me nearly as many games.
